PAINTINGS

Lulu is short for the greek word “louloudi” which translates as “flower.” Growing up, I always remembered my mother’s favorite perfume was named Lulu, and for every holiday thats what we bought her.

This painting was done for my mother upon her arrival in Florida, where she finally has her paradise. The silhouette of a face frames the right side, representing the eternal bond between mother and son.
